It is all too often that the doctor gets all the information about the patient, and the patient gets very little information about the doctor and his, or her practice, or the driving force behind their Intentions in Healthcare.  I would like to change that and share some of my story with you...

Born and raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on October 1st, 1977.  As a sophomore in High School, I was drawn to Savannah, Georgia in pursuit of a childhood dream to play college baseball in Florida. I joined a traveling baseball team, and competed all over the Southeast in tournaments and showcases. In 1996, I graduated from Groves High School, and realized that early childhood dream by earning my scholarship and roster spot on the Florida Tech baseball team!

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. I received a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Southwest Acupuncture College (SWAC), which is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I am a board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and am currently licensed as an Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine in the state of Florida as well as a licensed Practitioner of Oriental Medicine in Pennsylvania.

Growing up in the Home of Little League Baseball, I have been playing since the age of five and began teaching pitching mechanics to the next generation as a freshman at F.I.T. Along the way, the YMCA provided me opportunities as a Personal Trainer. It was also at the YMCA that I was introduced to Yoga. At that time, I was drawn to Sports & Yoga, and received a certification in Sport Yoga which was then used in private training sessions with athletes who compete in various sports or track & field events. Prior to devoting the majority of time to my practice and family, I encouraged and promoted the advancement of youth pitching mechanics through my instructional DVDs, which have been sold all over the world since 2004. Thousands of copies, in countries wrapping the globe...I feel honored to have helped that many kids and parents understand the complexities of the pitching mechanics. I feel the same way about every single Acupuncture Treatment I perform.

I have chosen to dedicate my life to the healing arts because I enjoy nothing more than seeing positive changes in people and giving them back the lives they once had, or the lives they have always wanted to live but have not been able to achieve. This path is to help those suffering and in need become well.

I am eternally grateful that I have devoted my life to this medicine, because I see continually see and feel the miracles each and every day of my life.  It brings me joy seeing people rid themselves of limitations, which have kept them from doing, being and having all that they have always wanted.

The sole purpose of my practice is to help as many people as possible in their quest for optimum health. This wonderful comprehensive form of medicine changed my life, and the lives of those around me. It is safe and effective for everyone including pregnant women, infants, and elderly people, without the use of drugs or surgery.

I feel what makes this practice unique is the perspective I take into each and every single case. Time and practice has led to a refining process that continues to evolve with each new case and every treatment. I am drawn like a moth to a flame to find the answers in solving the most difficult of cases & presentations, acute or chronic.

During the late summer of 2007, I was hired as an Associate Physician at the Alternative Medicine Family Care Center in Vero Beach, Florida. This was a wonderful opportunity to live, and practice in the Sunshine state. I was able to work with a physician who had more than 25 years of experience in Oriental Medicine as well as other Alternative Medicine modalities. Over the course of two years, my practice began to grow. I was doing what I always wanted to do, and helping a large population with their health concerns.

As my practice continued to grow, I began to realize I was missing something. For the first time, in a very long time, I began to miss where I came from. During the fall of 2008, I began thinking moving back to Williamsport, and opening the area’s first center for Traditional Chinese Medicine. I knew there were just as many people in Williamsport who could benefit from Oriental Medicine as anywhere else. I began to get excited about the opportunity of moving back home and helping as many people as I could, in my hometown where it all began.

It has been a long road home, but I am truly excited to be home and sharing my medicine with all those who have health concerns or those who would like to stay as healthy as they can, for as long as they can.
